Great points about GUI/SEO/web2.0 priorities … talking about usability and web design, check out this ebook (i dont have any connection with them, other than reading the book and being blown away by its content) http://www.savethepixel.org. Basically, it explains the principles behind simplifing your design while keeping a stong design element.
brilliant show as ever guys!

Hi Guys,
Love the show and I learn something EVERY episode. I would love to be entered to win the book and would be happy to share what I learn with our audience. I just posted a survey the other day to see how much our audience wanted to learn about the business side of crafting and how they wanted to learn about it and most people wanted to either read about it or listen and read about it, which I thought was interesting. So I think our audience is business minded and wants to learn more, just like us. Thanks for the great show, I look forward to listening to the show every week!

Hey Guys, great show as always! You really mademe think today about my website and making sure of it’s optimization before social media. I have to say that I have been a bit in reverse of what your information stated so i am thinking about going back and retooling a bit.
This month I added an etsy store to my site, and that was one of the big to do’s. After all I cant make any sales on any people coming looking for my art if they have no way to buy it. I have also set up google analytics and installed the analytics plugin for wordpress.
My question to you guys is: The keywords that have been driving poeple to my site have been sort of random with a couple of constants. One of the onstants is my name which I presume is social media folks and people that meet me at art shows.
How would I go about optimizing my site? I am running on a blog platform and I try to do at least two posts a week relevant to my topics and my art.
So in a niche like mine…what would be the first thing to do? Also are there any books that take you through step by step that you would recommend?
